Congratulations to our First ever Waverley Pennant Ladies Team – Anne Nunan ©, Vicki Winter, Maura Conroy, Marie Millard, Anne Hall.  The above ladies won B Grade Sec 1.  They were on top for most of the season but the team sitting second, Pakenham, were very close.  There was nothing between them, which was evident in the grand final.  It came down to the last set which was won by Narre North in a tie-breaker!  Great Win Ladies and a great season.  There were lots of laughs & good hitting.   The club is very grateful to have had the experience of ladies playing tennis on a Saturday avo rather than just during the week.  I’m sure it is the start of many more Ladies team playing on a Saturday!
